The mission season

More than a one-day competition

Teams progress through learning, digital-twin practice, qualification and an IST final. The same platform supports schools, colleges, universities and selected international teams without giving every category the same technical interface.

01

Register a mentor-led mission team

02

Receive initial Mission Credits and a Parwaz Mission Crew Pass

03

Learn and practise in the level-appropriate digital twin

04

Qualify through server-authoritative mission runs

05

Shortlisted teams attend the final event at IST

06

Selected winners enter the Parwaz Pathfinder development pathway

Participation paths

One challenge, level-appropriate experiences

The mission objective stays recognisable while guidance, controls, physics visibility and fault complexity change by participant level.

school

School Mission Teams

Visual controls, guided missions and age-appropriate engineering decisions.

college

College Mission Teams

Block coding, sensors, telemetry and controller tuning.

university

University Mission Teams

Control systems, mission scripting, faults, AI and evidence-based engineering.

international

International Invitational Teams

Selected teams participate through the same digital-twin mission framework.

Initial mission library

Missions with measurable engineering outcomes

Practice missions run on versioned MissionLab models. Official seeds, scoring authority and attempt limits remain server-side and inactive until a separately approved competition round.

M-01ADCS and control systems

StableSat

Stop an initial rotation and stabilise the CubeSat inside the target tolerance.

M-02Sensors and embedded systems

SunLock

Use directional light sensing to acquire and maintain the artificial Sun target.

M-03Pointing and imaging

EarthPoint

Point the onboard camera towards the Earth target and hold a valid observation window.

M-04Electrical power systems

PowerSafe

Protect the mission through low-power, eclipse and payload-load conditions.

M-05Data and AI

Telemetry Detective

Find sensor, link or actuator abnormalities in mission telemetry.

KidSAT exhibition lane

Compare software decisions with supervised hardware

KidSAT correlation may be demonstrated locally by a trained operator as a future exhibition lane. It does not change official software scores, attempts, or standings; an official hardware division requires separate rules and safety acceptance.

Difficulty control

Easy to enter. Difficult to master. Fair by design.

Administrators can tune validated difficulty profiles and choose fixed, random-pool or hidden-seeded scenarios. Official runs remain server-controlled, versioned and equal within each category.

L1School beginner

Explorer

Strong guidance, visual controls and forgiving mission limits.

L2Advanced school or college

Builder

Block logic, moderate disturbances and clearer engineering trade-offs.

L3University or enthusiast

Engineer

Controller tuning, sensor uncertainty, saturation and mission evidence.

L4Advanced official rounds

Challenge

Hidden bounded scenarios, faults and minimal guidance under fixed rules.

Purchased practice cannot increase the official-attempt quota. Hidden official parameters stay on the server until the run is finalized.

Mission Credits

Free discovery, controlled paid practice

Teams receive included credits. Additional credits may later be purchased for optional practice—especially scarce supervised hardware rehearsals. Every rate, pack, limit and activation gate remains under administrator control.

Parwaz Mission Crew Pass

Turn every team into a visible mission story

Approved teams receive a privacy-safe public Crew Pass, milestone badges and a shareable animated mission page. The production pass will include a tested QR code linking directly to that public experience.

Founding edition

Build the team before the mission window opens

Registration persistence and payment activation will follow the approved Phase 1 database deployment. The current route begins the mentor-led application journey without claiming that production applications are already open.
